Skincare product line employs high-barrier tubes

Grandel.jpgDr. Grandel’s Elements of Nature products use tubes that protect against excess moisture and oxygen while offering natural-looking graphics.

Dr. Grandel Inc. has partnered with Neopac for its Elements of Nature line of cosmetics products.

Born from Dr. Felix Grandel’s 1935 exploration of the benefits of wheat germ and Vitamin E, Elements of Nature products contain Epigran, a multipurpose active substance concentrate comprised of wheat germ and plant enzymes that provide optimal skin care. Elements of Nature products are all-natural and do not contain preservative additives and/or allergy-promoting substances such as parabens, mineral oils, petroleum components, paraffins, silicones, PEG emulsifiers, coloring agents or synthetic fragrances. That means it’s critical that the products receive optimum protection against excess moisture or oxygen and light to guarantee their shelf life.

That’s why Dr. Grandel chose Neopac, the Swiss-based provider and inventor of high-barrier Polyfoil® tubes for the prestige cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Together with Neopac, the team at Dr. Grandel chose white, brown, and green for the Elements of Nature packaging, to portray an image of purity and reliability (white), earth and stability (brown), and all natural (green). The decoration was made all with UV-curing printing colors in offset and silk-screen, which are solventless compared to traditional thermic dyes and varnishes.

The tubes are manufactured in a Class D clean room and are monitored for particles and microbes to certify the cleanliness of the tubes as well as the manufacturing environment.
