2011 PDA Annual Meeting

Harnessing the Power of Knowledge to Drive World Class Science and Technology
April 11-15, 2011 | JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country | San Antonio, Texas

The manufacturing of quality products is a keystone in our industry. Properly planned and performed process design, development, validation, sourcing, process control, contamination control, distribution and manufacturing all drive product quality and positive business results. Information and knowledge about these processes are corporate assets and companies need to develop strategies, tools and policies to manage these assets.

The 2011 PDA Annual Meeting will explore an area of immense importance to our industry, Harnessing the Power of Knowledge to Drive World Class Science and Technology, and the Program Planning Committee for this conference invites you to submit an abstract for presentation by July 30. Suggested topics for presentation include, but are not limited to:

* Development Science:
* Advances in dosage form delivery systems, automated sterilization technologies, contamination control/facility management control, cell culture/line development and more.
* Manufacturing/Process Science:
* Aseptic processing, automated manufacturing systems, barrier/isolators/RABs/blow fill seal/robotics, building management and control and more.
* Quality Science:
* Compliance monitoring and trending, environmental monitoring, LIMS and lab management systems, microbiological methods and trends and more.
* Outsourcing:
* Quality contract and agreement development, transfer of critical information and knowledge, audit of suppliers, supply chain integrity and more.
* Basics and Fundamentals:
* Sterilization, aseptic processing, cleaning, contamination control, analytical testing, documentation and more.
