Alcan Packaging Pharma Center in Shelbyville, KY, held an open house Friday, September 19 2008. The 70,000-sq-ft plant, which produces rollstock, more than doubled in size, adding an additional 80,000-sq-ft. The facility houses printing presses and laminators to produce push-through blister lidding, thermoformable blister films, high-barrier, cold-formable laminate structures, as well as N'CRYPT anti-counterfeit packaging technology. The facility also features full support services for concept-to-prototype thermoformable and cold-form blister packs.
