DataLase's DataLase is a technique capable of producing tamper-resistant images. Patented technology applies a laser-responsive coating onto a substrate. A computer-controlled beam of low-power CO2 laser light then images that substrate. The image appears as the coating undergoes a white-to-black color change reaction where the laser light strikes. Applicable to various applications, including laminated pharmaceutical labels.
